Secrets of the Church’s Cabin

Novel

After returning to her childhood cabin to attend her mother’s funeral, Anais barely escapes a fire that tears through the cabin and claims the life of her stepfather. Found unresponsive staring at the cabin engulfed in flames she holds the only clues to recovering her memory in her hands – an old pieced-together diary. Committed to a hospital psych ward in the rural town of Eagle River, Alaska, she meets Dr. Avery and her groundbreaking ‘new’ therapy. Dr. Avery sees an opportunity to redeem herself and test her improved drug and hypnosis therapy. An encounter with another patient makes Anais question her own mental stability and she desperately wants to go home and put it all behind her. Questions swarm around Anais being responsible for her stepfather’s death. The church wants Anais back. Detectives want justice, she wants her memories, and her doctor sees an opportunity. No one is prepared for what the diary will expose.

My Mission

I write women-centered novels that show readers the very thing they fear with the goal of not just entertaining but also exposing reality; ideally to foster understanding and compassion.
